Seneca County Halloween Parade set for 2023

Tiffin, Ohio — Destination Seneca County has announced that they will continue the tradition of a community Halloween Parade that will take place on Saturday, October 21, at 10 a.m.

Destination Seneca County will now run and oversee the parade moving into the future. The parade is sponsored by Brian Bower – loanDepot.

John Reino, owner of Reino’s Pizza & Pasta, will serve as the Grand Marshall of the Seneca County Halloween Parade.

John Reino has been a community supporter since purchasing Reino’s Pizza & Pasta from his father in 1983. John Reino’s father, Frankie Reino, started the business in 1950. The Reino family has welcomed many into their establishment over the years by providing a great atmosphere and delicious food, along with stepping up to support the community whenever needed.

Mayor Dawn Iannantuono shared her support for the continuation of the parade, “The Tiffin Developmental Center’s Halloween Parade has been a staple in the community since 1965. We’re excited that Destination Seneca County will continue that tradition and expand the parade’s presence to the entire county and beyond.”

The Halloween Parade route will begin on South Washington Street at St. Joseph Catholic Church and go to the intersection at Riverside Drive.

All are welcome to participate in the parade and can register at Parade participants are asked to be registered no later than October 13, 2023.
