Tiffin, Ohio — Tiffin University is gearing up to host its fifth annual Fuel the Fire Giving Day on Wednesday, September 13.

The charitable event provides an opportunity for alumni, employees, and friends of TU to demonstrate their appreciation for the institution by making a difference in its future. Last year’s Giving Day saw an impressive response, with the University receiving $198,836 through 1,544 donations.

According to Mikki King, the Director of Annual Giving at Tiffin University, Giving Day holds a special place in the university community.

“This is the perfect time to focus on our past, present and most importantly, our future. This day is all about supporting a University that means so much to so many all around the world,” said King.

The impact of Giving Day extends beyond the immediate moment, as it plays a crucial role in shaping the lives of future generations. King expressed immense gratitude for the support received over the past four years and eagerly looks forward to Giving Day 2023. Every contribution, no matter the amount, directly and significantly contributes to TU’s mission of providing exceptional education to its students.

In conjunction with Giving Day, Tiffin University will also be hosting Philanthropy Week, commencing from Monday, September 11, to Friday, September 15. This week-long event will serve as a tribute to the profound impact of philanthropy on the lives of TU students.
