Seneca County’s Family Fest draws crowds, smiles
Tiffin, Ohio — Seneca County residents came together to celebrate Family Fest on June 29, an annual event organized by the Seneca County Family and Children First Council in collaboration with the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services.
The community event offered an array of free activities designed for the enjoyment of the entire family, including inflatables, crafts, roaming mascots, and resource tables. Additionally, various food trucks participated, offering delectable treats to attendees.
Kathy Oliver, the director of the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to partner with the FCFC, community partners, and the city in organizing the event. She emphasized the importance of Family Fest in providing families with valuable information about the diverse range of services available within the community to support them.
In addition to Family Fest, several other engaging events took place in the area that evening. As part of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library’s summer reading program, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy Animal Magic programs, which offered interactive and educational experiences. Furthermore, Chad Solo enthralled the audience with a captivating performance as part of the Tiffin Park and Recreation’s Thursday Night Tunes Series, held at the East Green Amphitheatre.
