Downtown Tiffin to host festive 3rd Thursday Christmas in July event
Tiffin, Ohio — Downtown Tiffin is buzzing with excitement as it prepares for the much-anticipated 3rd Thursday Christmas in July event.
Taking place on July 20th from 5-8 p.m., this festive extravaganza promises an evening filled with holiday cheer and a wide range of activities and entertainment for people of all ages.
One of the highlights of the event will be the Santa’s Heroic Helpers “Touch-a-Truck” event, held at Lot 7. Families will have the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the brave men and women of the Tiffin City police, fire, and rescue departments, as they showcase their vehicles. In an exciting twist, there are whispers that Buddy the Elf might make a special appearance. Additionally, attendees can look forward to a lively musical performance by Paul Grover, a local entertainer known for his energetic renditions of 80’s hits that will surely get everyone dancing.
For kids seeking adventure, the North Pole obstacle course bouncy house, generously donated by Tiffin Inflatables, will be located in front of Calvert Catholic Schools. Across the street, JAMs Monthly Markets will host their Christmas in July Market, offering a delightful selection of unique holiday-themed items for browsing and purchase.
Food enthusiasts will have their taste buds tantalized at the RTA Lot, which will be transformed into a food lover’s paradise. A variety of food trucks, including Tijuana Tacos, Double D’s Food Cart, and Dough My Gosh, will be on-site, offering delectable treats to satisfy any craving. Meanwhile, the local merchants throughout Downtown Tiffin will be in the holiday spirit, offering Christmas in July sales, exclusive discounts, and specials.
Art lovers will find their haven at TMAC, where the first Court Street Market of the summer will be held. This market will showcase the incredible talents of local artists, makers, and crafters, providing attendees with a diverse range of handmade products to explore. From stunning artworks to intricately crafted crafts, there will be something to captivate every artistic taste. As the evening comes to a close, the Thursday Night Tunes concert series will present The Eric Sowers Band at the East Green Frost-Kalnow Amphitheatre, starting at 7:00 p.m.
