Attica man arrested following alleged home invasion
Republic, Ohio — In the early hours of Friday, at approximately 4:01 a.m., authorities were alerted to a home invasion at 1088 N. SR 18 in Republic.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, an unknown male had forcefully entered the residence by kicking in the rear door, resulting in significant damage.
Upon their arrival at the scene, deputies diligently conducted their investigation, eventually identifying the intruder as Bradley D. Macbeth, a 41-year-old resident of Attica, Ohio.
Macbeth had been present at the residence earlier in the evening, but without permission, he allegedly returned and forcibly entered the premises.
Authorities promptly took Macbeth into custody, arresting him on charges of burglary and criminal damaging. He was subsequently transported to the Seneca County Jail, where he currently remains detained pending further legal proceedings.
“The investigation is ongoing,” Sheriff Fred Stevens stated. “Macbeth is presently being held at the Seneca County Jail for further prosecution.”
