Seneca County Museum to host musical tribute to Tiffin native Robert G. Friedman
Tiffin, Ohio — The Seneca County Museum is thrilled to announce the upcoming event in its Speaker Series, featuring a musical tribute to the renowned musician and Tiffin native, Robert G. Friedman.
Set to take place on Thursday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m., this captivating evening promises to immerse attendees in the captivating world of big band and jazz.
Rodney Young, an esteemed presenter, will kick off the event by providing a fascinating biography of Mr. Friedman, shedding light on his remarkable life and musical accomplishments. The biography will offer insights into Friedman’s journey and the impact he made in the world of music.
Following the biography, attendees will have the pleasure of watching a recorded video of the enchanting concert that took place on October 20th, 2004. The concert featured the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and the University of Northern Florida Jazz Ensemble 1, showcasing The Robert Friedman Suite. This collection of songs, composed by Friedman and expertly arranged by William Prince, highlights the brilliance and artistry of Friedman’s musical compositions.
