Tiffin, Ohio — Downtown Tiffin is preparing to host its highly anticipated event, Fête de la Musique (Music Day), as part of the 3rd Thursday series.

Taking place on June 15th from 5-7 p.m., the streets of Downtown Tiffin will come alive with the enchanting melodies of more than 30 talented musicians. These artists will captivate audiences in front of merchants, on sidewalks, and street corners, creating an immersive musical experience.

Fête de la Musique will showcase a diverse range of musical styles, catering to all preferences and tastes. Attendees can expect to be serenaded by classic rock, country, pop, acoustic folk, indie, barbershop, blues, reggae, jazz, beatbox, R&B, and more. Whether you’re a fan of familiar tunes or crave something new and exciting, the event promises to offer a harmonious selection of musical genres that will resonate with everyone.

Among the highlights of the event is “Kidchella,” sponsored by the Tiffin Community Foundation, which will take place at Cherry Alley. This designated area will provide children with the opportunity to explore and experiment with various musical instruments, fostering a love for music and igniting their passion for becoming future musicians.

Furthermore, music enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to experience a remarkable tubular-pneumatic organ concert at the historic Second UCC church located at 156 Jefferson St. Dating back to 1904, the church’s organ adds a touch of history and grandeur to the musical extravaganza.

Mayor Dawn Iannantuono expressed her excitement about the event. “Downtown Tiffin’s 3rd Thursdays are a celebration of our community’s vibrant spirit. The Committee Chairs have done a wonderful job bringing these events to life. Fête de la Musique promises to be a harmonious blend of music, culture, and togetherness,” she said.

To further enhance the evening, Downtown Tiffin’s merchants, bars, and restaurants will be offering exclusive specials and promotions throughout the event. Attendees can indulge in the culinary delights provided by various food trucks stationed at City Lot 7 and Court Street, adding a flavorful dimension to the musical festivities.

As the evening progresses, The Cherry Bombs will take the stage at The East Green Amphitheatre, sponsored by Nicole Miller, State Farm. From 7-9 p.m., this talented group will showcase their dynamic high-energy performance, featuring a mix of pop, rock, and a touch of country. Their captivating show is sure to leave the audience spellbound.

The success of Downtown Tiffin’s 3rd Thursday events would not be possible without the generous support of its sponsors. Reineke Family Dealerships, UIS Insurance & Investments, and Destination Seneca County have played a vital role in ensuring the ongoing success of these community gatherings.
