Downtown Tiffin announces Christmas in July event for 3rd Thursday

Tiffin, Ohio — Downtown Tiffin is gearing up for a delightful evening of holiday cheer with their upcoming 3rd Thursday event, Christmas in July. This unique celebration will take place on July 20th, offering a fusion of traditional Christmas spirit and the pleasant summer weather.

Marisa Stephens, Committee Chair of the event, expressed the goals behind Christmas in July, saying, “One of our goals with the Christmas in July event is to bring the joy and spirit of Christmas to our community in a fun and unexpected way. We’re excited to see families and friends come together to celebrate and create lasting memories during this unique event.”

A highlight of the evening will be the live music performances in Lot 7, featuring talented local artists Paul Grover, “No Eileen,” and Santa’s Heroic Helpers. Visitors can immerse themselves in the enchanting musical ambiance while exploring various activities. Local heroes will also be present, offering the opportunity to check out a police vehicle, fire engine, and more. Additionally, there may be special appearances by Buddy the Elf and Summer Santa, adding an extra touch of magic to the event. Families and children will be delighted by the North Pole obstacle course bouncy houses, generously donated by Tiffin Inflatables. These fun attractions will be located in front of Calvert Catholic Schools, across from JAM’s Monthly Markets, where the Christmas in July Market will be held. In the RTA lot, attendees can explore the community lot and learn more about local businesses and organizations. Tijuana Tacos, Double D’s Food Cart, and Dough My Gosh will be parked and ready to serve delicious food for the evening. Furthermore, numerous merchants will be hosting special Christmas in July sidewalk sales, offering great deals and unique holiday-themed merchandise.

The Christmas in July 3rd Thursday event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., allowing ample time for everyone to enjoy the festivities. Attendees are also encouraged to stay for the Thursday Night Tunes concert at the East Green Frost-Kalnow Amphitheatre, where The Eric Sowers Band, an Ohio-based modern country music band, will provide entertainment.
