Brent Busdeker announces candidacy for Seneca County Commissioner
Tiffin, Ohio — Small business owner Brent Busdeker has declared his intention to run for Seneca County Commissioner in the upcoming 2024 Republican primary election. Busdeker aims to secure the seat currently held by embattled Commissioner Tyler Shuff.
Busdeker, a co-owner of King Industrial Supply Inc. and an alumnus of The Ohio State University with a degree in Communications, expressed his readiness to serve the residents of Seneca County. Drawing upon his business background and commitment to fiscal responsibility, Busdeker said in a press release that he is a “uniquely qualified” candidate for the position of county commissioner.
“I will bring experience, dedication, and professionalism to the commissioners’ office,” Busdeker stated in the release. “I will continue to protect our tax dollars and ensure we are getting value from the dollars we do spend.”
Transparency, efficiency, and community-focused decision-making are key pillars of Busdeker’s vision for the Seneca County Commissioners’ office, according to the release. As a county commissioner, Busdeker said he is determined to foster an environment of open communication, streamline processes, and make decisions that prioritize the needs and aspirations of the community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Busdeker values his role as a family man. Alongside his wife, Lynn, he takes pride in raising their three children, Luc, Gianna, and Vinnie. The Busdekers are active members of St. Joseph Church, and Brent currently serves as a wrestling coach at Tiffin Middle School. His commitment to community extends further, as he previously served as a board member of the YMCA and coached Tiffin Youth football, the release states.
