Tiffin, Ohio — The Downtown Tiffin community is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Barking Lot Party on May 18, 2023.

The event, which will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., promises a fun-filled evening for families and pet owners alike. The Barking Lot Party will be held in the parking lots behind the Laird Building, Croghan Colonial Bank, and City Lot 7, offering ample space for a lively celebration.

“Our Third Thursdays are always popular events. On the next one, we welcome our furry friends to Downtown Tiffin,” said Mayor Dawn Iannontuono, expressing her enthusiasm for the upcoming event.

City Lot 7 will serve as the hub of the festivities, featuring food trucks, community vendors, and live music by DJ Paul Grover, also known as No Eileen. While City Lot 7 will be closed off from parking, all other city lots will remain open for public parking.

The event is free and open to all ages, and promises a variety of pet-friendly specials and giveaways from local businesses. However, organizers have also issued a disclaimer, urging attendees to refrain from bringing aggressive dogs that may pose a threat to other dogs, children, or strangers. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times during the event.

The Barking Lot Party is part of the popular Third Thursday series, which will continue throughout the summer with events scheduled for each month. The series is sponsored by UIS Insurance & Investments, Reineke Family Dealerships, and Destination Seneca County, showcasing the strong support from local businesses and organizations for community events.
