Candidates for Tiffin mayor, judge participate in League of Women Voters forum
Tiffin, Ohio — The League of Women Voters of the Tiffin Area hosted a Candidates Night forum at Tiffin Middle School on Wednesday, featuring candidates for the positions of Tiffin mayor and Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court judge.
All three candidates for mayor, Mary Franks, John Spahr, and Lee Wilkinson, as well as the two Republican candidates for Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court judge who will appear on the May 2023 primary ballot, Rhonda Best and Mark Repp, participated in the event.
The forum provided an opportunity for the candidates to share their views and engage with the public ahead of the contested primary election in May. The League of Women Voters fielded questions from the public before and during the event.

For those who were unable to attend in person, the forum was broadcast live on the Tiffin Area League’s Facebook page, allowing for wider participation and engagement from the community. The League of Women Voters of the Tiffin Area also published a 2023 Voter’s Guide for the May 2 primary election on their website, providing detailed information about all the candidates and the new election registration rules.
The event provided an important platform for the candidates to present their visions for the future of Tiffin and the Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court, and allowed voters to learn more about their positions on various issues.
The League of Women Voters of the Tiffin Area continues to play a vital role in promoting civic engagement and providing valuable information to voters as they prepare to make their choices in the upcoming primary election.
