Tiffin, Ohio — The Tiffin-Seneca United Way hosted its 14th annual cornhole championship, known as the “Battle of the Businesses,” on Sunday. The event took place at Camden Falls and attracted 25 teams who filled the conference room.

After several rounds of competition, Matt Reinhard and Chris Danner emerged victorious, claiming the first-place prize. Second place went to Reece and Ashton Moore, while David Auble and David Auble III took third place. Al and Donna Perrine placed fourth.

In addition to the main competition, a 50/50 raffle was held, with Chris Danner winning the prize. 20 raffle items were donated and won by raffle participants, and door prizes were also handed out throughout the event.

The event was sponsored by Camden Falls, with Quick Tab II serving as the platinum sponsor. The board sponsors included Webster Industries, Edward Jones-Tiffin, Clouse Construction, Impact Credit Union, Laminate Technologies, UIS, Tiffin Metal Products, and Advanced Environmental Pest Solutions. Clouse Construction served as the wheel sponsor, while Rock Run provided the snacks.

Several volunteers helped make the event possible, including Connie Griffin, Dalton Dyer, Deegan Reid, the Distel Family, the Steele Family, Quick Tab II staff, and Chuck Eingle, as well as players and spectators who stayed to help clean up after the event.

This year’s event raised $1,681, with all proceeds going to support the United Way’s charitable efforts in the community.

In a press release, Tiffin-Seneca United Way expressed its gratitude to the local businesses and community members who supported the event and the organization’s mission.
