Tiffin, Ohio — The Tiffin City Schools Board of Education provided an update Wednesday on their search for a new treasurer. This update comes ahead of the planned retirement of longtime Treasurer Sharon Perry from the district in July.

According to the Board, four candidates were selected for a first round of interviews, which were completed on Saturday, Feb. 25. From this initial round, two finalists were chosen to proceed to the final round of interviews, scheduled for March 9th.

The Board will await the results of the final interviews before making a final decision. An update on the treasurer search will be provided at the regularly scheduled monthly board meeting on March 27.

The Board has not disclosed the identities of the candidates, and has refrained from providing further information about the selection process.
