JAM’s Monthly Markets becomes registered nonprofit organization

Tiffin, Ohio — JAM’s Monthly Markets, located at 145 Madison Street in Tiffin, has recently announced that they have become a registered nonprofit organization.
The markets opened their doors in January of 2020 with a unique retail experience that brought together multiple small business vendors into one unified space. Since then, their mission has grown to focus more on supporting the community through the markets’ functions.
Jami Fadley, the owner of JAM’s Monthly Markets, along with board members Lisa Gelinas, Angie Bloom, and Jen Burns, share a passion for giving back and helping their community.
“We have been operating as a nonprofit in many forms, but becoming an official incorporation will open so many doors for our future plans of growth,” said Fadley. “This will also give us the credibility needed for fundraising and continuing our mission.”
In February of 2020, JAM’s Monthly Markets was approached to benefit their first cause, and since then they have supported more than 55 non-profits and raised over $55,000 for organizations and local families in need.
The market is open the third weekend of every month from Thursday through Sunday, along with three large vendor events throughout the year. This weekend, the market will be open and will feature a lineup of events including Tea Time Tiffin’s St. Patrick’s Day Tea, JAM’s Prom Dress Shop with more than 250 gently used dresses to browse through, the 2023 St. Paddy’s Day 5k Run/Walk where you can find the Tiffin Community Kitchen waffle and hot chocolate bar free to anyone with a 5k ticket, and the JAM’s annual Easter egg hunt and pictures with the bunny with donations benefiting the Seneca County School of Opportunity.
