Tiffin, Ohio — The League of Women Voters of the Tiffin Area is set to host a presentation on the “State of Abortion and Reproductive Rights in Ohio,” featuring Danielle Smith as the keynote speaker.

The event is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Frost-Kalnow Room of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.

Smith, who currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Association of Social Workers – Ohio Chapter, has extensive experience in advocacy at both the state and local levels.

With the recent Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court decision in June 2022, reproductive rights, bodily autonomy, and other healthcare rights have been at risk in Ohio. The presentation will provide attendees with an overview of the current landscape of laws affecting reproductive rights, the status of abortion access, and opportunities for advocacy.

Individuals who are unable to attend the event in person but still wish to participate can request a link to the program on Zoom by emailing tiffinleagueofwomenvoters@gmail.com.
