NYC attempted murder suspect arrested in Carey
Carey, Ohio — The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, based out of Toledo, sought the assistance of the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit on Monday for the arrest of a male subject with active arrest warrants.
The subject, identified as Rodolfo Grey, was wanted in New York City for several charges including attempted murder, assault with intent to cause serious injury with a weapon, and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, according to a press release from the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit.
Grey was located at Teijin Automotive Technologies in Carey, where he was employed. The U.S. Marshals and Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit detectives took him into custody without incident at 3 p.m. on Monday, according to the release.
Following his arrest, Grey was transported to the Wyandot County Jail where he will be held until extradition back to New York.
