Tiffin, Ohio — A joint effort by local law enforcement agencies led to the execution of a drug-related search warrant at a residence located at 152 8th Avenue on Friday.

The Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with additional officers and detectives from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Tiffin Police Department, and Seneca County Probation Services, participated in the operation.

The search warrant, signed by Judge Damon D. Alt of the Seneca County Common Pleas Court, yielded a significant quantity of suspected illegal drugs and criminal tools. The suspected narcotics include methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, and THC products. The discovery of these illicit substances suggests that the individuals living at the residence were involved in the trafficking of illegal drugs, according to a press release from METRICH.

46-year-old Jessie J. Jarvis Sr. is currently incarcerated in the Seneca County Jail for an unrelated probation violation of his judicial release stipulations stemming from previous charges. He is facing possible additional charges of trafficking in cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and THC, as well as possession of criminal tools, according to the release.

The investigation is still ongoing, and possible charges on Jarvis’s associates are pending upon the conclusion of the entire drug investigation. All charges are pending the return of the laboratory analysis of the suspected narcotics discovered inside the residence, the release states.

“Mr. Jarvis has been on our radar for quite some time. Apparently being out on judicial release and on probation supervision is not enough for Jessie to get the message to walk the straight and arrow. We hope he gets the message now!” Brandon Bell, unit coordinator of the Seneca County Drug Task Force, said in the release.
