Tiffin University to host virtual sport, fitness showcase
Tiffin, Ohio — Tiffin University’s Sports Management program will host a virtual sport and fitness showcase on Friday, February 17 from 9 to 11:50 a.m.
The event is open to both TU students and community members who are encouraged to attend and engage with alumni and friends of the institution who are seasoned professionals in the world of health and athletics.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Buffy Filippell, founder of TeamWork Online, a leading talent acquisition and networking platform in the sports and entertainment industry. The lineup of panelists will include university professors, NFL agents and coaches, presidents, account executives and more.
Guest panelists will discuss and answer questions on 12 pre-chosen topics. Each meeting will be repeated once throughout the event. Four breakout rooms via Zoom will be used to facilitate said conferences, and attendees may join several without fear of being double-booked.
Topics of discussion include: Fan Engagement, Fitness and Strength Training Certification, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics in Sports, Working in College Athletics, Brand Sponsorships and Partnerships, Starting a Club or Fitness Business, Facility and Club Management, Pro Sports: Agency Representation, Social Media Marketing and Engagement, Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) and Collegiate Sport Licensing, Ticketing Marketplace (Primary and Secondary Markets), Working in Pro Sports.
