Seneca County Commissioners tour youth center

Tiffin, Ohio — Seneca County Commissioners Tyler Shuff and Bill Frankart spent time touring the Seneca County Youth Center on Monday, meeting with program manager Sarah Canalos and Director of Operations Greg Sehlhorst to discuss ways to support the facility.

The 24-bed center provides a safe and secure environment for youth, offering services such as education, mental health, substance abuse and healthcare.

Shuff praised the hard work of Canalos, Sehlhorst and the rest of the center’s staff, saying, “It’s important to me to get in the trenches with our various departments to see the inner workings and issues we are facing firsthand.”
