Body found in Findlay pond
Findlay, Ohio — On Thursday, at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers from the Findlay Police Department were dispatched to a report of a deceased person found floating in a retention pond at the rear of Walmart, 1161 W. Trenton Ave.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a deceased white male in the pond. The body was recovered and transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy, according to a press release from Findlay PD.
At this time, the identity of the deceased male has not been determined. The Findlay Fire Department and Hanco EMS assisted at the scene.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Findlay Police Department. Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact the department at 419-424-7150.
