Veterans Service Commission distributing food cards to Seneca Co. veterans

Tiffin, Ohio — The Seneca County Veterans Service Commission will hold a food card distribution for veterans who reside in Seneca County on Dec. 13th, 14th and 15th, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Veterans may come to the Veterans Service Office located at 920 E County Rd 20, Tiffin, with proof of veteran status and residency in Seneca County, only during the specified days to obtain the food card.

The card is also available to surviving spouses. To receive the card, the surviving spouse will need to show proof of veteran status, residency and identification. The last name should match that of the deceased veteran. If the last name is not the same, please provide a marriage certificate.

All cards must be obtained in person by the veteran or surviving spouse. The food card will be worth $30 and is redeemable at Heritage IGA located in Tiffin.
