Veterans, military to be honored at TU vs. Findlay game

Tiffin, Ohio — Tiffin University’s football game against the University of Findlay on Saturday, Nov. 12 will honor veterans and military service members in attendance.

Gates will open at 10:30 a.m., and the posting of the colors by the United Veterans Council of Seneca County will begin at 11:45 a.m. with a pre-game recognition of all attending veterans and active service members immediately following. Kickoff is at noon.

Hosted by TU’s Office of Veteran and Military Services and Tiffin University Athletics, all veteran and military personnel will be admitted for free with an official I.D. There will be a veterans’ table until halftime with giveaways available.

The theme for the game will be red, white and blue. The game will be held at Frost-Kalnow Stadium, located at 300 S. Monroe St., Tiffin.
