Carey man seriously injured in Findlay motorcycle crash

Findlay, Ohio — A Carey man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a motorcycle crash in Findlay on Sunday.

According to the Findlay Police Department, the crash occurred at 6:40 p.m. in the 300 block of Center St.

19-year-old Madelyn Koehler, of Canal Winchester, was driving a 2017 Ford Escape eastbound on Center St., and 42-year-old Ryan Kloepfer, of Carey, was traveling westbound on a 2003 Yamaha Road Star motorcycle.

Police say Kloepfer went left of center and struck the Ford Escape head-on.

Kloepfer was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with serious injuries. He was also issued a traffic citation by the Findlay Police Department.

Koehler was treated at the scene.

The Findlay Police Department was assisted on scene by HANCO EMS and the Findlay Fire Department.
