Tiffin, Ohio — The City of Tiffin and Tiffin Parks and Recreation hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for the new inclusive playground at Hedges-Boyer Park.

The City of Tiffin’s new inclusive playground at Hedges-Boyer Park replaces aging equipment and improves the recreation opportunities for families visiting and living in Tiffin and Seneca County.

As well as two new playsets, equipment includes new swings, a zip line, jungle gym, shaded benches and tables and more.

Inclusive play systems are designed to allow all people to participate in play, regardless of age or ability, and to prove that play has no limit. This project was made possible through funds granted to the City of Tiffin through the American Rescue Plan Act and through other local grant programs.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was organized with the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club.
