Tiffin, Ohio — The Tiffin Moose is set to host a food truck festival to celebrate its 75th anniversary on Aug. 20.

According to a press release from the Tiffin Moose, the festival will include food trucks, games, prizes, a coloring contest, face painting, live music, bingo, and lots of fun for the entire family.

“The Tiffin Moose has been serving Tiffin and the surrounding communities for over 75 years, and we’re excited to continue helping make Tiffin great. The Tiffin Moose used to host a ‘MooseFest’ that was open to the community every summer. We have some new leadership that would like to revive that tradition, starting with this year’s 75th Anniversary festival,” said Josh Schooley, administrator of the Tiffin Moose.

“We’re excited to invite the public out to the Moose to have some fun with their family and friends, listen to some great music, sample some tasty food from local food trucks, play games with the kids, relax with a cold drink in our social quarters, learn more about the Moose and check out some of the great things that have been happening here lately,” Schooley said.

The festival will include music by DJ Ritchie from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Triple Shot from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be various carnival-style games and prizes for kids, a festival bingo in the ballroom, a kids’ coloring contest and face painting, and plenty of food from various local food trucks.

The public is also welcome to relax with a cold drink in the social quarters, which is usually reserved for members only, to check out what the Moose has to offer.

“The Moose has done so much for Tiffin and the surrounding area over the years. From supporting the free to-play Tiffin Youth Football & Cheer League to helping out the FISH Food Pantry, we’re always a little bit behind the scenes helping local charities and agencies in their efforts to continue to make Tiffin such a wonderful place to live,” Schooley said. “I think we just want to remind the community that we’re still here and relevant — doing good things for Tiffin every day, and we’d love to have anyone join us that has the spirit of fraternity and charity in their hearts. The Moose is for people of all ages and all walks of life, so I hope everyone comes out to the festival, brings their family, learns a little more about the Moose, and has a great time.”

The festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Admission is free, and the festival is open to the public. The Tiffin Moose is located at 1146 N. State Route 53, Tiffin. For more information, visit TiffinMoose.com or call (419) 448-9271.
