TFRD participates in live fire training
Tiffin, Ohio — Tiffin Fire/Rescue Division participated in live fire training Friday in City Lot 6 with the Ohio Fire Academy, with classes that continued throughout the weekend.
Firefighters had the opportunity to train in a simulated fire in three separate areas, using real equipment to put out propane fires.

The program is provided to TFRD through a State Fire Marshal’s Office grant, which also provided funds for driving simulation classes last month and an upcoming grain bin rescue simulation.
The grant extends to staff at other departments throughout Seneca County to get live fire training as well.
