Suspect in custody after barricading himself inside Findlay business

Findlay, Ohio — A man who allegedly barricaded himself inside a Findlay business Monday was taken into custody after surrendering to police.
The Findlay Police Department received information from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office about a possible armed and suicidal subject at S & S Landscaping, 600 Olive St.
Officers arrived at the business and encountered the subject, later identified as 34-year-old Damien Talbot, of North Baltimore, Ohio.
Talbot refused to exit the business and barricaded himself inside, according to police.
The Findlay Police Department ERT (emergency response team) and the Hancock County ERT responded to the scene and began negotiations with Talbot.
At approximately 9:13 p.m., gas was deployed into the business, at which time Talbot surrendered. No injuries were reported.
Talbot was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant out of Wood County and was turned over to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
Talbot may face additional charges pending the outcome of the investigation.
