New York-style deli to open in Downtown Tiffin

Tiffin, Ohio — Dave & Amber Spridgeon, owners of the Renaissance of Tiffin, Jolly’s Drive-In, the Renaissance on Wheels, and the Pink Lady, announced Monday that they are adding a fifth endeavor to their repertoire with the Frost Parkway Deli this summer.
The Spridgeons will be hiring eight new employees and jointly investing over $85,000 in building renovations and equipment in the 155 Frost Parkway building, which formerly housed Draperies By Dawn.
Owner Dave Spridgeon said, “This is a unique opportunity since there are no other options like this in Tiffin. We would like to thank the City of Tiffin and TSEP for their support, and the property owner Andrew Kalnow for supporting another revitalization effort downtown.”
The project will enhance Frost Village downtown by adding a New York-style deli offering fresh breakfast items, piled-high deli sandwiches, fresh bread baked daily by the Parkhurst Company, limited items from the Pink Lady menu, and on holidays, cheddar infused poppyseed biscuits and pies. They will deliver downtown on foot and plan to use DoorDash and Tiffin Treats for all other Tiffin deliveries.
City of Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz said, “We are fortunate to have entrepreneurs like Dave and Amber in our community who continue to spread their success with each new business they open, and we look forward to this new dining option in the City of Tiffin.”
