Neumeister’s Candy Shoppe to return to Tiffin
Tiffin, Ohio — Upper Sandusky-based chocolatier Neumeister’s Candy Shoppe announced today that they are coming back to Tiffin and locating in the Wolfe Creek Shopping Center, where they were previously in the early 2000s. They plan to employ eight people at the Tiffin location and to open on June 1, 2022.
Established in 1877 in Upper Sandusky, Neumeister’s is known for their signature handmade and hand dipped chocolate, creams, truffles, fudge, toffee, nuts and dried fruits.
For their new Tiffin location, they are also partnering with Mark’s Homemade Ice Cream, located in Bucyrus, to offer homemade ice cream, custom milk shakes, and ice cream sandwiches. The ice cream products will only be available at their Tiffin location.
Neumeister’s owner Debbie Frey was excited to make the announcement, saying “We are so pleased to be able to return to such a vibrant and supportive community, and to expand what can offer. Tiffin has been good to us, and we look forward to helping contribute to its continued growth and progress.”
Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz added, “We welcome Neumeister’s back to Tiffin with open arms, and we are so pleased to have a company with such a long and unique history of quality confections opening a shop here for for residents and visitors alike.”
