Tiffin, Ohio — Tiffin City Council will have its regular meeting via Zoom at 7 p.m. Monday, May 2.
Tiffin City Council agreed to a virtual format for the upcoming regular meeting and any subsequent special meetings due to scheduling conflicts for Council members and not related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
To maintain maximum accessibility, the meeting will be recorded, archived and streamed live at the City of Tiffin Government Facebook page. Residents also can join the meeting on Zoom by computer or mobile device at this link.
A committee of the whole meeting will precede council beginning at 6:45 p.m. and can be viewed at the same link.
Residents can download the Zoom meeting app for free here and join with ID 898 5886 6453 and Passcode 635195. In addition, those who would prefer to call in and listen to the audio of the meeting can dial (312) 626-6799 and use the same ID as above.
Residents may address City Council during the public comment section of the meeting. Those wishing to speak should click the “raise hand” option in Zoom to let it be known they wish to make a statement. Public comments are asked to be kept to five minutes or less and should be addressed to the Council President.
Tiffin City Council has adapted this format under the provisions of Ohio Sub HB 51, which allows for meetings to be conducted virtually until the end of June.
Video recordings of the meetings will be published to the City of Tiffin Facebook page and on the City of Tiffin’s official YouTube channel.
