Tiffin woman injured in Findlay car accident

Findlay, Ohio — A Tiffin woman was injured in a car accident Wednesday morning in Findlay.
At approximately 9:28 a.m., police say Alyssa N. Torres, of Tiffin, was driving a 2021 Hyundai Venue westbound on Tiffin Ave. when she stopped for a red traffic signal at Plaza St.
Thalia M. Baker, of Alvada, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe directly behind Torres’ vehicle.
The front right of Baker’s vehicle struck the left rear of Torres’ vehicle, with minor damage noted on both vehicles.
Torres was transported to the Blanchard Valley Hospital via Hanco EMS for non-life-threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were moved from the scene.
Baker was cited by the Findlay Police Department for assured cleared distance ahead.
The Findlay Police Department was assisted on scene by the Findlay Fire Department and Hanco EMS.
