Manhunt underway for suspect with multiple warrants last seen in Green Springs area

Green Springs, Ohio — Police are currently searching for a Clyde man with multiple warrants who was last seen in the Green Springs area on Sunday.
According to a Facebook post shared to the Green Springs Ohio Police Department page Sunday afternoon, 40-year-old Brandon Dixie, of Clyde, was last spotted on foot in the Green Springs area wearing tan pants, a black or navy blue sweatshirt, and dark boots.
Police have been searching local businesses in the Green Springs area with doors left unlocked or propped open, according to the police department’s Facebook post.
On Christmas Day, Dixie allegedly ran from Fostoria police after stealing plywood from a home that was in the process of being built. He is also being accused of pointing a suspected firearm at the person who reported the theft.
Dixie is described as a biracial male with a height of 5’10”, weighing 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
“Please call if you see anything or anyone out of the ordinary,” the police department’s Facebook post reads.
Anyone with information on Dixie’s whereabouts should contact Green Springs police at (419) 639-2123, or dial 911.
