Victim identified in Hancock County homicide investigation

McComb, Ohio — A Mexican national has been identified as the victim in a Hancock County homicide investigation.

On Tuesday at approximately 7:06 p.m., the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at 203 E. Perrin Ave., McComb, for a death investigation.

After preliminary autopsy results, the death was ruled a homicide by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.

The victim was identified as 44-year-old Sebastian Hernandez, a Mexican national residing in McComb, according to the sheriff’s office.

A search warrant was executed at the residence on Friday by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the Findlay Police Department.

As of Friday, no suspects have been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
