Police: 18-year-old killed in Findlay crash

Findlay, Ohio — An 18-year-old Findlay woman was killed in a crash Saturday.
The Findlay Police Department said at approximately 2:53 p.m. Saturday, 18-year-old Taylor Benson, of Findlay, was driving a 2018 Kia Forte southbound on Bright Road.
Richard Yockey was driving a 2018 Dodge Journey northbound on Bright Road.
Police say Benson went left of center and struck Yockey head-on. Both vehicles suffered disabling damage to the front.
Benson’s vehicle was towed by Dick’s Towing. Yockey’s vehicle was towed by Mac and Bob’s Towing.
Benson was transported by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Yockey did not sustain any injuries, according to police.
