Man arrested for alleged murder of his wife

Findlay, Ohio — A Hancock County man was arrested Monday for the murder of his wife.

65-year-old Brian L. Ziessler was arrested at approximately 12:30 p.m. without incident and is currently incarcerated in the Hancock County Justice Center, according to police.

Police allege Ziessler murdered his wife, 59-year-old Sherri L. Ziessler, earlier this month.

On Nov. 15, just after 6 a.m., the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from 16777 Township Road 205 in Hancock County.

Responding deputies met up with the caller at the scene and discovered Sherri Ziessler deceased inside the residence. Police say she suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The investigation is ongoing and no additional information was available from authorities Monday afternoon.
