Tiffin, Ohio — Tiffin-area families in need of preschool may be eligible for no-cost Head Start services through Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP)’s Tiffin Early Childhood Center, 182 St. Francis Ave.
Through GLCAP Head Start, children can receive full-day preschool and childcare for children ages 3-5. Head Start provides a focus on kindergarten readiness, socialization, and other important developmental needs for children and families.
While eligibility is based on federal poverty guidelines, program staff will look at each family’s situation and assist them in finding the best option for their family’s circumstances. Children who are in foster care or are identified as homeless are also eligible, regardless of income. Children with disabilities are welcome and accommodated at all centers. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to call for details.
For more information, visit www.glcap.org/headstart or call the Tiffin center directly at 567-220-7003.
