Tiffin woman seriously injured in SR 101 crash: OSHP

Tiffin, Ohio — A Tiffin woman was seriously injured in a single vehicle crash early Tuesday morning, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:55 a.m. on State Route 101, south of milepost 10, in Adams Township, Seneca County.
22-year-old Caroline T. Plank, of Tiffin, was driving a 2012 Jeep Wrangler northeast on SR 101.
Plank traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a culvert.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene by D&D Towing.
Plank, who appeared not to be wearing her seatbelt, suffered serious injuries and was transported from the scene by Life Flight to Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo.
The crash remains under investigation. Ohio State Highway Patrol says alcohol and/or drug use are not suspected to be contributing factors at this time.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Green Springs Fire Department, North Central EMS, St. Vincent’s Life Flight, and D&D Towing.
