Findlay, Ohio — Authorities have launched a suspicious death investigation after a man was found dead at a Findlay residence Thursday.

Around 12:24 p.m. Thursday, officers with the Findlay Police Department were dispatched to 614 S. Blanchard St. after dispatch received a report of a deceased male.

Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 56-year-old male and determined that the death was suspicious.

The victim’s name will be released pending notification of next of kin, according to police.

The Ohio BCI was called in to assist with processing the scene.

The man’s body was taken to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.

Police said Friday that the autopsy had been completed, and the initial findings could not determine a cause of death.

Further investigation will be dependent upon toxicology results, police said.
