Tiffin, Ohio — A Tiffin woman has won free groceries for a year from Kroger as part of the grocery chain’s “Community Immunity” giveaway for getting vaccinated.
Jennifer Steinhauser will be presented with her prize on Friday, July 23 at 10 a.m. at Tiffin Kroger, where she received her COVID-19 vaccine.
The giveaway, now closed, was held between June 3 and July 10, according to a news release from the company.
Kroger Health is giving away $5 million, reflecting a $1 million winner each week for five weeks.
Additionally, the company is also awarding 50 “groceries for a year” prizes, ten each week for five weeks, each valued at $13,000 (the equivalent of $250 a week for 52 weeks).
While the giveaway contest is over, you can still sign up for your vaccine at Kroger.com.
