Tiffin, Ohio — Beginning this week, a new Downtown Punch Card program will launch in conjunction with the Farmers Market. The punch card offers rewards for farmers market customers who shop at other downtown locations.

Seneca County Common Ground has been building a partnership with the downtown businesses since it took over operation of the market in 2019. Downtown establishments place flyers, deals and posters on a large advertising board which is placed in the middle of the market area each week.

This year, the SCCG board partnered with the Downtown Retailers committee to create the new punch card as a way to incentivize customers frequenting various downtown locations. The groups plan to continue working together and building their partnership.

The cards can be picked up at the Market Manager’s table at the market and at all participating downtown business locations. Participating businesses will punch the card after customer spends ten dollars or more at their establishment. Customers can only receive one punch per business per day. Ten punches (with a minimum of ten dollars per purchase each) will complete the card.

Each complete card presented to staff at the Market Bank table at the Farmers Market will receive a five dollar Farmers Market token and up to $100 in local gift cards. More information on the program can be found at

Dave Spridgeon, Chairman of the Downtown Retailers Committee, board member of Seneca County Common Ground and owner of the Renaissance of Tiffin, said, “this is a wonderful partnership between the market and the downtown businesses. We’re happy to be supporting each other and working toward the shared goal of bringing more people downtown.”

Participating Downtown Tiffin businesses include 22 Mrkt, Reclaim It, Washington Street Outfitters, Simply Susan’s, Reino’s Pizza & Pasta, Jolly’s, BEST of Tiffin Taco Shop & Breakfast Spot, FroZone, Laird Arcade Brewery, Renaissance of Tiffin, JT’s Bagels, Empire 138, Ralph’s Joy of Living and Clover Club.

“This kind of collaboration and working together between different groups is exactly what makes our downtown so successful,” said Amy Reinhart, Director of Downtown Revitalization at the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership.
