Tiffin begins search for new police chief

Tiffin, Ohio — The city of Tiffin is now accepting applications for the position of police chief.

Former Chief Fred Stevens was elected Seneca County Sheriff in 2020 and was sworn-in earlier this year. Lieutenant Jason Windsor has been serving as acting chief ever since.

Individuals may apply through July 30, 2021. You may find the job description on the city’s website here.

Applicants are asked to include their application (which can be found here), cover letter, and resume with their submission, which can be sent to the Director of Human Resources by email at directorofhr@tiffinohio.gov, fax at (419) 448-5410, or mail to City of Tiffin, Director of HR at 51 E. Market St., Tiffin, OH 44883.

Electronic submissions are preferred.

The assigned assessment dates will be Aug. 24 and Aug. 25, 2021.
