Findlay police evacuate Walmart store after bomb threat
Findlay, Ohio — Police in Findlay responded to a report of a bomb threat Monday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to Walmart, located at 1161 W. Trenton Ave., at approximately 4:08 p.m. on a report of a bomb threat received by phone.
Walmart received a phone call from an unknown person advising that a person was in the store with a bomb.
No other information was obtained before the caller hung up.
At the request of Walmart management, officers assisted with the evacuation of the store.
A search was conducted of the store by officers and management.
Nothing of interest was located. No injuries were reported.
No other information was available from police as of Monday at 6 p.m.
