Seneca County Commissioner Tyler Shuff met virtually Thursday with Buffalo Bills standout defensive back and Fostoria High School graduate Micah Hyde.

Shuff and Hyde discussed strategies to improve athletics opportunities for Fostoria youths.

Hyde’s IMagINe For Youth annual football camp for young athletes is to occur again this summer.

Shuff said he is excited to have the opportunity to work with Hyde and leaders throughout Seneca County to improve youth programming and athletic opportunities.

“My goal is to create a Little League team, or two, over in Fostoria. Then hopefully another to the east, to potentially have a countywide league. All of our youth in Seneca County deserve the chance and opportunity to play,” Shuff told TiffinOhio.net.

“Seneca County has produced professional athletes as well as multiple state champions. I hope this teaches our youth about teamwork, discipline, and the value of hard work,” he added.
