Board of Elections Chair James Fruth encourages voters to participate in upcoming primary election

Primary election season is here, and early voting has begun. City of Fostoria, Green Springs Village, Adams Township and Tiffin City School District voters are the only ones voting in this election.

There is no election for voters living in the following precincts:  New Riegel Village, Big Spring Twp., Bloomville Village, Bloom Twp., Eden North (except Tiffin City School voters), Eden South, Hopewell A (except Tiffin City School voters), Hopewell B, Hopewell C, Jackson Township, Bettsville Village, Liberty A, Liberty B, Loudon North, Loudon South, Reed Township, Republic Village, Scipio Township, Seneca A, Seneca B, Thompson Township, Attica Village, and Venice Township.

Because of the limited number of election contests, for those who choose to vote on Primary Election Day, May 4, there are some temporary changes to precinct voting locations.

  • Voters in Tiffin 1C, Tiffin 2A, Tiffin 2C will vote at the Tiffin Developmental Center, Building Number #330, The Pines. Tiffin Developmental Center, 600 River Road, Tiffin.
  • Voters from Tiffin 3B, Tiffin 3D, Hopewell A (Tiffin City School only) will vote at the Jr. Fair Building at the Seneca County Fairgrounds. 100 Hopewell Avenue, Tiffin.
  • Eden North voters in Tiffin City School District will vote at Clinton Fire Station #2. 863 E. US 224, Tiffin.
  • Scipio Township Tiffin City School District voters will vote at Clinton Fire Station #2. 863 E. US 224, Tiffin.
  • Liberty Township Tiffin City School voters will vote at the Pleasant Township House. 850 TR 15, Old Fort.

In addition to the temporary changes in precinct voting locations, there will be a permanent change for voters in Fostoria 3B, who will now vote at the Fostoria Geary Family YMCA Annex Building, 125 W. North St. Fostoria.

Early in-person voting at the Board of Elections office at 71 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, is available for registered voters as follows:

  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 16th
    • Monday, April 19th through Friday April 23rd
  •  8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    • Monday April 26th through Friday, April 30th
  •  8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    • Saturday May 1st
  •  1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Sunday, May 2nd
  •  8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • Monday, May 3rd
