7-year-old Fostoria boy dies, 3 others injured in single vehicle crash

Troy Township, Ohio — A 7-year-old Fostoria boy was pronounced dead and three others were injured in a single vehicle crash Thursday morning, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 8:08 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to a report of a single motor vehicle crash on Bradner Road near Sugar Ridge Road in Troy Township, Wood County, Ohio.

The initial investigation indicated the vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch culvert, causing injuries to all four occupants of the vehicle.

EMS and fire agencies from Troy Township, Pemberville, Woodville, and ProMedica Air responded to the scene.

7-year-old Cameron Fredritz, of Fostoria, was pronounced dead at the scene.

26-year-old Nathaniel Rivera, 30-year-old Monica Epley, and 6-year-old Brielle Fredritz were transported from the scene for medical treatment.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
