Councilwoman Bridget Boyle announces candidacy for Tiffin City Council President

Tiffin, Ohio — Current First Ward Councilwoman Bridget Boyle (R) announced Wednesday that she will run for Tiffin City Council President this year.
Boyle’s decision comes after current President Rich Focht decided against running for re-election.
Boyle, originally from Cleveland, is a 2014 Tiffin University graduate who was first elected to Tiffin City Council in 2019.
“I have had the pleasure of serving on City Council the past year and a half as the First Ward Councilwoman. During this time, I have witnessed the amazing development and growth of Tiffin due to the commitment and work ethic of our entire community,” Boyle said in a Facebook post announcing her candidacy.
