At about 10:15 a.m., the commissioners are expected to hear an update from Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership personnel. The update is part of a quarterly presentation the entity gives to the board.

At about 10 a.m., the commissioners will hear from Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

The organization does important work advocating for children in the court system. Advocates help to take care of any needs the child has. The organization relies on volunteers and offers about 30 hours of training for those who want to join the program. For more information about CASA, visit its social media page or call (419) 448-1442.

In new business, the board is to discuss a request from the Seneca County Humane Society to pay legal fees for outside counsel retained by that organization last year.

During new business, the board is to consider:

  • A $16,952.50 supplemental appropriation to the Community Development Block Grant allocation for Melmore Park upgrades.
  • An $869.54 supplemental appropriation to the Emergency Management Agency Fund for equipment.
  • Appointing Arrin Allen to the Developmental Disabilities Board (term expiring Dec. 31, 2025).
