Judge Jay Meyer sworn in for new six-year term

Tiffin, Ohio — Seneca County Juvenile/Probate Court Judge Jay Meyer was sworn in Wednesday evening to a six-year term during an event at the Seneca County Justice Center.
Meyer, who has already served for 12 years in the position, was sworn in via Zoom by his father, Gerald Meyer.
Gerald also served in the position from 1978-1998.
Meyer was surrounded by his wife, Heidi, and their four children. The ceremony was also attended by friends and court staff.
Magistrate Donald Bennett was on hand and Magistrate Tiffany Cavanaugh also joined via Zoom to help with swearing Meyer into the position.
