Tiffin, Ohio — The Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services has received funding from the Seneca County Commissioners to help individuals and families who have been affected by the pandemic.
Each applicant can receive up to $1,000 to assist with car payments, rent/mortgage and utilities. Applicants must live in Seneca County and be a United States citizen.
Applications will be processed in the order they are received. Funds will be paid directly to the vendor. “We are fortunate to be able to help people in our county who have been negatively affected by COVID-19,” said Seneca County DJFS Director Kathy Oliver.
Michael McLane, Workforce and Family Services Administrator said that funding is available for a very limited time.
“Funding will end December 31, 2020,” he said. “Applicants should apply as soon as possible to receive this one-time funding.”
