Ohio reports 7,268 new cases of COVID-19, surpassing 300,000 total cases Staff

The Ohio Department of Health reported 7,268 new confirmed and probable cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) Monday, above the state’s 21-day reported daily case rolling average of 5,006.

The batch of new cases brings the state’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 305,364.

20 additional deaths were reported Monday, bringing the state’s total number of coronavirus-related deaths to 5,742.

Hospitalizations are up by 213 compared to Monday’s data, making for a total of 22,478 reported hospitalizations statewide.

Admissions to intensive care units are up by 19, with a total of 4,223 ICU admissions throughout Ohio.
